We are pleased to announce Mark Hoff has joined SLR as Financial sector lead and a senior leader of our ESG advisory services offering in Europe. He will be based in SLR鈥檚 newly opened Frankfurt office.

Mark brings with him a wealth of experience from leadership roles at prominent sustainability consultancy firms. His timely appointment comes as SLR expands its sustainability and ESG advisory teams, most notably with the acquisition of Corporate Citizenship, one of the largest and longest-standing specialist consulting firms focusing exclusively on sustainability and ESG (see /news-and-insights/news/slr-acquires-corporate-citizenship).

Mark is a senior business leader in the ESG advisory services industry with more than 20 years in the advisory sector, working with industrial and financial sector clients across their value chains in Europe, Africa, and Asia Pacific. Most recently he has led projects on sustainability strategy, ESG signals, and ratings and disclosure. Mark has supported clients on their sustainability transition journey, developed corporate responsibility and responsible sourcing programmes throughout the battery materials and plastics value chains, and developed tools and capacity building programmes for senior leadership training and post-merger integration.

He will be responsible for SLR鈥檚 Financial sector clients and expanding SLR鈥檚 activities in continental European markets. His work with clients will focus on why ESG is important, and how it can be integrated into operations. This includes strategic advisory, sustainability culture & change management, transformation to net zero, Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), and responsible value chain assessments, as well as driving forward digitalisation, reporting & disclosure, and value creation topics.
