Biography
Stefan is the Technical Director of SLR Canada鈥檚 hydrology practice, with environmental consulting experience across western and northern Canada. He has an extensive background in hydrology and climate baseline evaluations, hydrometrics, hydrological modeling, geomorphology, reservoir management, and instream flow studies. His work focuses on the impacts of resource development, land-use, and climate change on hydrology in western Canada.
Recognized as a technical expert on low-flow hydrology and its impacts on aquatic environments, Stefan is passionate about designing and implementing innovative projects that deliver real-world solutions for managing water resources and fisheries.
Stefan regularly collaborates with biologists, engineers, foresters, and planners on complex interdisciplinary projects. He takes pride in helping mining, forestry, government, and First Nation clients achieve their environmental management goals. He is also an active member of Engineers and Geoscientist BC鈥檚 Truth and Reconciliation Committee.
